I get there at 9:30 am. There is almost no one. A few girls walking around, but no one lining up. I eventually find some cool ppl that are also doing what I’m trying to do. Meet Honor Society, Jb’s back up band, and of course the Jonas Brothers.
Loading Dock…I was there for most of my day. Just talking to the crew. Talking to new friends I made there. Around 10:15am…a tour bus with GARBO in it starts up and garbo opens his window and waves to us. Me and some other crazy fans being to chance it. We chase it from 7th and F street all the way to 3rd and Massachusetts. Long run, I would of kept on running, but running on a highway…not for me. Thank god I wore converse. We go back to the Verizon Center. I met this awesome chick, Daphnie, she has a press pass from her school for photography. So we go into the elevator of the Verizon center to just see where we could go with it. We end up getting in front of the actual arena. We turn around cause if someone found us here we would probably be banned from the concert. We go back to the loading dock, and just chill there. At 3:40pm, a big red bus comes up. We all know this bus as Clifford, <- what honor society calls it! There are about 30 fans waiting around the loading dock. They get out of the bus and walk down the center, and they wave, then continue walking. Then Mr. Megaphone (Ned) begins to advertise for the Full Moon Crazy Tour. I wasn’t allowed to go, cause my parents said it was too late. The concert for the Full Moon Crazy tour would start at 11pm, and end at like 12. My parents didn’t want to be up that late.
After a few escalades pull into the loading dock, I head back inside to wait with my sister to go in. Everyone starts to enter the Verizon Center and go out the other door, and so I do the same. Turns out that Honor Society would be playing a free acoustic show. I get up to the front and they move us again to a more secluded corner. We wait for about 30 minutes. Just screaming when ever Mr.Megaphone would ask us to. He was video taping us for a youtube video. Ned AKA as Mr.Megaphone (Micheal from Honor Society gave him that nick name during the Acoustic show) starts to play trivia with us. The 1st question was “When does their CD come out?” Megan, a friend I met on TeamJonas.com, answered that question right. She won 2 tickets for the Full Moon Crazy Tour. The next question was “What is another song name other than See U In The Dark?” and before he can even finish the question I raise my hand, and he calls on me. I say “Where Are You Now.” He says correct and I scream. He asks me what my name is and I stutter a bit then say Ana. I txt my sister to call my parents and tell them that I won 2 tickets, and to see if we could stay. They of course say yes, since I never win anything. After a few more trivia, Honor Society finally comes out. We are all screaming. There are no barricades keeping us back, but we were asked to please not get too close by their management. WE stay in place, and they play a few songs. During the song “Over You” Micheal, lead vocals, is starring straight at me. Im like freaking out. Then after that song is over, he tells me that my shoe is untied. After they finished their songs, they took pictures with us, I got a picture with Andrew 1st, he is so nice. Then I got a picture with Jason. Then I walk over to where Alex, and then I get to Michael. We had to try this a few times. My hands were so shaky and I kept messing up. He was so nice. We made small talk after I got the picture, and he asked me if I was going to the show after the JB show. I ofcourse still had my tickets in my hand and he gave me another hug. He was so happy. They all looked so happy to be meeting their fans. I’m officially even more obsessed with them now than I was before.
After we are let in I start to walk around, buy stuff, get food. Irun to my seat because the show is about to start, and Honor Society comes on stage. They do 3 songs, and then they say their goodbyes, and then run off stage. A few minutes later the act Wondergirls comes on. I finally get to sit down, I don’t really care about them, so I sat down. They showed us how to do a dance for their song “Nobody” and then they perform it, and then they go off. A few minutes later, a guy comes around to give away free stuff. He throws a few shirts into the audience. Then Jordin Sparks comes on. She does a few songs, and im jumping up and down, dancing. After she gets done, another guy comes on and tells us that The Obama girls and Michelle Obama are at the concert, and so everyone starts to freak out. After about 20 minutes of waiting the lights go off, and everyone gets up and starts screaming. Im dancing to every beat, jumping. When Nick says his speech during A Little Bit Longer, I start to cry. He asked us to make a promise for him and that’s what I did. I promise when a curve ball is thrown in my path in life, I will not let it slow me down. After that song, Much Better comes on, and everyone freaks out because of the line “all the tears on her guitar.” I start to laugh at that. Lol They let the instruments run a bit longer, and Joe and Kevin come to the cat walk closest to where I am. And the platform begins to rise, and they grab their foam spray guns and start to spray the crowd. I got sprayed, and it was so much fun. The platform was above me, and they looked adorable. They finish their set, and then they come out to do the encore, and as they are taking their bows, and saying their goodbyes, me and my sister race up the stairs to get out of there and start running to the Full Moon Crazy Tour location. 6th and I , 3 blocks away from where the Verizon center is. A few other girls are also running towards there. Once we get there, there were about 20 ppl already lined up, and once they let us in, I take my seat, in the row. There were no seats assigned. You got them in the order you got there. Mr.Megaphone comes out again with his megaphone and tells us we can stand infront of the stage, and so everyone starts running. I got to be in the 3rd row standing. Once Honor Society comes out, we all start dancing, dancing, jumping, screaming. A few girls spot Garbo, and we also spot Joe and Nick in the balcony. I was there to see Honor Society, so I only glanced up and then kept watching Honor Society perform. Ofcourse everyone was freaking out over Jonas, some ppl where getting pissed that everyone was looking at jonas and not at Honor Society. They perform a few songs, and I occasionally glanced up and saw Joe and Nick rockin’ out. It was so cute. In between a song changes, Jason asks when their CD is coming out, and I scream at the top of my longs and my hand goes up really fast, and he calls on me, and everything is quiet, I scream out “September 15” I glance up and see that nick was looking at me. They finish their set. I can say that the pushing and shoving got on my nerves. Everyone around me was sweaty, hot, and sticky. Yuck, but it was so worth it.
My friend, Catherine, who I also met on TeamJonas.Com, tells me she has an extra ticket to meet Honor Society after the show and she offers it to me. Im like freaking out. Then we line up at the meet and greet line. We wait for about 30 minutes. I sat down on the carpet, and we just chilled there. Honor Society comes out and im the 8th person in line. Once Its my turn, Andrew was like “You are a lot less sweaty now.” The 1st time I met them I was so sweaty cause it was outside, and this was inside. I go up, they take the picture. Jason has his hand around my waist and Im in between Alex and Jason. They take the picture and im leaving and then Alex extends his arms to me and I hug him, then I hug Michael and then Andrew. I didn’t hug Alex this time ): I watch the M&g of my friend. She is the funiest girl ever. She has met HS 8 times, and so she wanted a goofy picture with them. They do a spy pic. http://twitpic.com/ab28v its so funny. i love it. Then I go outside, where my sister is, and shes freaking out because she touched Joe’s muscles. I say bye to Catherine and her Mom, and my parents are on their way to pic me and my sister up. We pass the tour bus once more, and then I get in the car. I explain to my parents how my day went, and how much fun I had. I drink so much water. My voice is now dead. I sound like a dying animal right now. It’s 2:57 now and I just had the coolest convo with Catherine. Honor Society knows my name!!
